SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Here is the list of school supplies that your child will need for this year. The stores are already putting out supplies. They usually have the area school's supply lists available. The problem is that sometimes they don't contact the schools before putting them out and some of the information may have changed from the previous year. Please make sure that the list that you are using in the stores has the new teachers listed on it. They are Mrs. Bauer-4th, Mrs. Robbins-2nd, and Mrs. Hagen-preschool and that they are for the 2012-2013 school year.
1 highlighter (prefer pink, yellow, or orange)
2 sturdy folders (1 of which must have the 3 holes on the side for a binder)
1 package of loose leaf paper
markers (thin and thick)
colored pencils
crayons
scissors
glue
2 glue sticks
pencils (regular or mechanical)
large pink eraser or eraser caps
3 dry erase markers (Expo)
headphones
hand sanitizer
tool box to hold supplies
Kleenex
calculator (must have the square root button and the positive/negative button)
3 notebooks
2 pens any color
This year student's do not need to bring a protractor or ruler. I have ordered some so everyone has the same kind. Students may still bring a ruler for art projects, personal use, etc.
Buy extra supplies while they are cheap in the fall. Students usually need to replenish some things by Christmas.
Expo brand dry erase markers work the best on our boards and last the longest. Students will be using their own dry erase markers during classroom activities on the small white boards.
